For years, Connecticut-based alternative rock/pop band Chaser Eight has been evolving—sharpening their sound, deepening their identity, and stubbornly refusing to burn out.
That evolution hasn’t gone unnoticed. The band has been twice voted New England’s Best Alt-Rock Band in The Deli Magazine’s year-end poll and was nominated for Rock Act of the Year at the 2024 New England Music Awards. In late 2024, Chaser Eight was crowned the winner of Mohegan Sun’s prestigious Locals Live competition, earning them a 2025 headline performance at the Wolf Den.
They’ve shared the stage with a wildly eclectic mix of artists—including Panic! at the Disco, Buckcherry, Trapt, Atlas Genius, Local H, Faster Pussycat, The Dollyrots, and Badfish—but what they’re most proud of isn’t the names on the bill; it’s the catalog.
Fronted by founding member *AUDRA* (vocals/guitar) and rounded out by Brennan DiLernia (bass), Chris Siena (drums), and Mike Cocco (guitar), Chaser Eight has released six EPs, nine standalone singles, and three full-length albums, building a body of work that lives in the space between cinematic atmosphere, loud feelings, and late-night honesty.
On July 11, 2025, the band released Alea Iacta Est, their first full-length album created with producer and creative partner The LX. The record was engineered at Silk City Music Factory, Sage Sound Studios, and Black Barrel Records, mixed by James Howard (Black Barrel Records, Shelton, CT) and John Barrett (Abbey Road Studios, London), and mastered by Oli Morgan (Abbey Road Studios) and Will Borza (Seismic Mastering).
To close out 2025, Chaser Eight surprised fans with their first-ever cover release; a high-energy take on Iron Maiden’s “The Trooper.” The track was recorded at Black Barrel Records, engineered and mixed by James Howard, and mastered by Will Borza at Seismic Mastering. The accompanying official music video—shot and directed by longtime collaborator Mike Magilnick, with whom the band has worked on multiple videos over the years—was a celebration of their shared history, chemistry, and pure love of music and cinema.
After all this time, Chaser Eight is still here—still writing, still releasing, still pushing forward. Grateful for the stamina it takes to last this long, the trust it takes to keep creating together, and the fans who continue to ride shotgun for every chapter of the journey.
